Alluvial Gold Extraction

Equator Mining Company excels in sustainable alluvial gold mining, focusing on extracting gold from sedimentary deposits such as riverbeds and floodplains within our 21.21 square kilometer concession in Axim, Ghana. Our extraction processes incorporate advanced modular wet processing systems that effectively separate gold particles from clay, sand, and gravel, even in challenging conditions with high clay content. Starting with excavation and dredging, materials are passed through multiple stages including washing, screening, gravity concentration, jigging, and shaking tables to ensure maximum recovery efficiency. Environmental stewardship is central to our alluvial gold mining operations. We implement water recirculation and mud management systems to minimize environmental impact while maintaining efficient gold recovery rates. Our feasibility study confirmed over 865,000 ounces of alluvial gold reserves, highlighting the scale and potential of our resources. Community collaboration and regulatory compliance further solidify our commitment to responsible mining, ensuring that local ecosystems are protected and rehabilitated post-extraction.

Key Points:
